Warm up 10/18

AS I scrolled through the images, a story was told. A story that this man loved her. she meant everything to him and soon, he would lose his everything. My heart melted when I saw the tombstone picture pop up because I will be seeing a lot of them soon. My 84 year old grandmother was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer and has been hurt our family very bad. I think the quote really speaks to me in the sense that they show what we are but not exactly what we are. I think it would be very hard to take these pictures but even more difficult to look at them later and post the story on the blog. I definitely would be sensitive about all the criticism, good or bad. Talking about a loved one that you have lost is very hard to do, and I wouldn't blame him if he didn't want to take all of the pictures. If I could write Angelo a letter, I would tell him what beautiful pictures he took even though it was probably very difficult given the circumstances. I would ask him how to deal with everything. His story is very motivational.

Academic shoot.

Academic post shoot review.

the first picture demonstrates the rule of simplicity because the focus is on her drawing in her sketchbook.
the second one shows the rule of balance because on both  sides of the guy, there is a girl.
the rule followed on the last one is the rule of thirds because the girl writing is mainly in the left third.

the subject of the first one is the girl and her sketchbook, the second is the people looking at their project, the last one is the girl's face when she is focusing on her work.

the subjects for all of the pictures are very clear to anyone who might see them and they are focused on the people in the pictures.

If i could have done anything differently, i would have gotten different angles on the people and maybe shot more so i could have more choices to look through.

ISO

Image result for low iso

The ISo with 100 is clearer and you can see more detail but the image on the right looks more pixelated and unclear on the background portion of the photo.

At a baseball game you use a high ISO to capture the image with low lighting.

You should use a high ISO when there is not enough light for the camera to be able to quickly capture an image.

You should use low ISO whenever possible to take in all the lighting.

shutter speed difference.

Image result for high shutter speed
This picture has a low shutter speed. You can tell that because the background is very blurry and not clear.

Image result for high shutter speed

This picture has a high shutter speed because it is very focused on the action and can pick up on the small things.

also the three different shutter settings are aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual.

aperture difference

Image result for F2.8 picture
This picture was taken with f/2.8Image result for F16 camera apertures

This one was taken with f/16

We relate aperture to the human eye.

The smaller the Aperture the smaller the f stop,  the higher the Aperture larger the f stop.

The depth of feild is what is in focus. It can focus on far away or really close up.
