POst academic shoot critique

One challenge that I faced was getting an action shot that was very colorful because we weren't allowed to take pictures in the gym and some teachers wouldn't let us go into their classes.

some technical problems i faced were having goo lighting in dim classrooms, which we had to either turn on the flash or we ha to open a door and turn on the lights. also, we struggled to get everything in the frame but eventually zoomed out but still kept a lot of detail.

if i could do things over again, i would have definatly done some harder rules and i probably would have gotten better angles to show the emotions that the students had on their faces.

things i would keep the same are taking pictures in ms Abbott's class because she had many colors in her classroom that added extra feeling to the picture which was nice.

I think the rule of thirds is the easiest rule to use because it is just focused on the position of the subject.

the hardest rule, to me, is the avoiding mergers, I understand that you aren't supposed avoid merging with other object but i don't understand the second part of it.

I am still not clear on the avoiding mergers rule and to understand it, i can look at pictures and look at articles that can help me identify what they are and how to follow them.
